Oscar Ochoa also known as Huggies. Born in California was raised listening to disco, funk and soulful music. When he was 12 the sound of house music intrigued him. He always liked music but house music captivated him in every way. Growing up he began his journey as a dj with his first set of turntables practicing and learning to blend tracks and use his musical creativity to develop some amazing sets. His second home were the record shops always trying to find lost gems.

He Moved to Texas and Met Juan Carlos Vanegas (aka Miami), which later on introduced him to the lowlife dj’s, they all had that sound he liked bouncy funky soulful deep techy sounds. He fit right in. Oscar's ambition and hunger to dj and let everyone else hear the music he likes has pushed him to be the dj he has become. Being the youngest member Lowlife but also a very active member currently working on producing music and collaborations with other dj's he has a lot in store for these next coming years. Ambition is the one word that can describe him. He is determined to share his love for music with avid house heads around the world. His versatile approach to dj'ing makes him a heavy weight when it comes to playing, Bringing heavy hitters from both ends of the horizon new school and old-school makes his sound unique and funky. 

Oscar has never been scared to take risks always full of energy and always ready to listen for new sounds. Musical inspirations vary from pharcyde, donna summers, Kerri Chandler, Reelsoul, Louie and Kenny, the list goes on forever literally forever currently with roughly 5 terabytes of music you never know what to expect in his sets except for Intoxicating bouncy beats that keep you moving. But as a Latin American he loves percussion like Tito Puentes and a "Thick Kick" as he likes to call it. He gives you everything you can hope for when you go out to a club or lounge to listen to music. His intoxicating beats are always something to look forward to every time he plays. 

Oscar Ochoa has shared the stage with Andy Caldwell, Lucas Keizer, Mr.V,Alix Alvarez. Dj'ing at Venue's and Event's such as Houston Electronic music Festival known as Praia Urbana, Davenport,Rich's, In N out, Etro and many more.
